Founded in 1989 as CSS Total Security Ltd by Roberto Fiorentino, Croma Fire & Security has been offering quality security and fire solutions to customers for over 30 years.

Founded in 1970 as County Locksmiths SEcurity Ltd by Fernando Fiorentino, Croma Locksmiths has been offering quality locksmith solutions for well over 50 years.

On 18 November 2021 Croma Security Solutions Group PLC announces its acquisition of Safeguard (N/W) Ltd, expanding its network of Security Centres and Locksmith Branches across the UK to include a location in Warrington.

On 20th December 2022 Croma Security Solutions Group PLC announced its acquisition of Safecell Group, consisting of Safecell Security and Authorized Access Systems Ltd.

Safecell is a well-known and long-standing security business based in Manchester, providing a comprehensive range of services with a particular focus on electronic and physical security together with fire systems, to retail and commercial customers across the North of England.  Safecell's locksmith business operates from premises in Bury (North Manchester).

In January 2024 Croma Security Solutions Group PLC formally announced its acquisition of Attle Locksmiths, expanding its network of Security Centres and Locksmith Branches across the UK to include a new location in Worthing.

In January 2024 Croma Security Solutions Group PLC formally announced its acquisition of City Locks, expanding its network of Security Centres and Locksmith Branches across the UK to include a new location in Peterborough.

In January 2025 Croma Security Solutions Group PLC formally announced its acquisition of Meridian Security Systems Ltd, including it's locksmith shop in Leeds, electronic security services and an online store.
